Speed to Lead ("we", "us") provides an AI phone assistant that calls people who request information from auto repair shops (our "clients") and books appointments for them. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
What we handle
- Lead information that a client's website form sends us: name, phone number, email, state, vehicle, the problem described, the preferred shop, and the consent the person gave to be contacted (text, time, page and IP address).
- Call information: call status, duration, transcript, recording link and summary, provided by our voice provider.
- Client information: shop names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, prices and answers to frequent questions that our clients enter.
- Google Calendar data of clients who connect their calendar, as described below.
Google permissions
When a client connects a Google Calendar, we ask to see when the calendar is busy (free/busy), to offer only open times; to create events, to add the appointments the assistant books and invite the customer by email; and for the account's email address, to show which calendar is connected.
We never read the titles, descriptions, attendees or any other content of existing events. Access tokens are stored encrypted and used only to check availability and create appointments for that client. A client can disconnect at any time from their Google Account (Security → Third-party connections) or by asking us, and we then delete the tokens.
Speed to Lead's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
How we use it
To call leads who asked to be contacted, answer their questions and book appointments; to comply with calling laws (do-not-call lists, calling hours and consent records); and to send call and appointment results to the client's own CRM, when the client sets it up.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the service (hosting, voice calls, do-not-call verification and Google Calendar) and the client the lead contacted. We never sell personal information.
How long we keep it
While the client's account is active and as long as needed to show legal compliance. People who ask not to be called again are added to a do-not-call list. To request access to or deletion of your information, email us.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and secrets such as calendar tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the people who run the service.
